Jesus did not say the church would be known by its buildings, its budgets, or even its beliefs alone — He said it would be known by its love. And love, by its very nature, moves outward. It crosses streets, knocks on doors, and shows up where it is needed most.
Serving your city does not require a mission trip or a ministry title. It starts with paying attention — to your neighbor, your coworker, the person sleeping in the doorway you walk past every morning. Every act of genuine care, no matter how small, is a proclamation that people matter to God.
